Professional Background

Dr. Freedman graduated from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University in 1985 with a Ph. D. in Psychology. He also received an Masters of Education from American University in 1976 in counseling, and a Masters of Science degree in Psychopharmacology from the Massachusetts School for Professional Psychology (now William James College) in 2003. Since moving to Maine, he has worked for various school systems, Riverview Psychiatric Center, and maintained a private practice.
